Training and Education
Our instructors are able to deliver a custom-built training program to your IT staff that is equal to, or in some cases exceeds university-level graduate and/or undergraduate classes. Our staff has extensive experience in the higher education sector and is qualified and experienced to teach at a college level. When we do not teach the classes ourselves, we partner with highly reputable institutions and we will assist you in developing a comprehensive training and/or certification program.
Targeted workshops
We provide targeted half-day or whole-day workshops to quickly bring people who are in the trenches up to date on particular topics. We provide targeted workshops to assist students in achieving certifications, such as the CISSP, CISA or CISM certifications.
SANS Training
Mentor is SANS' program for learning courseware in ten weekly two-hour classroom sessions. Mentor gives you time to absorb and master the same material commonly taught at SANS six-day conferences, with the guidance of a trained network security professional.
Mentor is your opportunity to participate in SANS training without
the expense and inconvenience of travel or taking time out of the
workday and the advantage of a small classroom setting. You also get
the opportunity to network with other security professionals in the area.
Hacker Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling
This course addresses the latest cutting-edge insidious attack vectors and the "oldie-but-goodie" attacks that are still so prevalent, and everything in between. Instead of merely teaching a few hack attack tricks, this course includes a time-tested, step-by-step process for responding to computer incidents; a detailed description of how attackers undermine systems so you can prepare, detect, and respond to them; and a hands-on workshop for discovering holes before the bad guys do. Additionally, the course explores the legal issues associated with responding to computer attacks, including employee monitoring, working with law enforcement, and handling evidence.
Our next class has not yet been scheduled. To be notified of the next time I teach, please send me a message.
